Our herbalist, and CEO, originally founded Diatom Nutrients (the Company), to help fight his Metal Honor Winning Uncle’s “Agent Orange” cancer. A man who was a med-vac helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War, who was shot down 3 times. Inflicted with multiple bullet wounds. But still, going against his commanding officers orders, went back into enemy territory again and again; until he brought back as many american soldiers as possible. After finally being forced home, he would go on to live until this day. Healing from his war wounds and eventually surviving his cancer.

It was while on the search, in developing help for our CEO’s Uncle, that we discover all supplements on the market are perverted! You aren’t getting what you are reading about, when you read about the health benefits of a supplement. Most supplement companies change what makes the supplement good for you.

Lets first start with the process of how a supplement is discovered to have health benefits. A new phytonutrient gets discovered, or is extracted and named. Someone runs a study on this newly discovered phytonutrient. After studies are concluded, a result is reached and published. If results of a phytonutrient study reveals promise, then companies jump to sell it to you. This is where it gets changed.

Yes you are getting what company’s put on their labels, most the time. But when a study and clinical trial is performed, there are measurements of quantity, purity, and frequency of use that are established; in order to receive the same results, as seen in the original studies, you must repeat these quantities used in the original study.
